Gaudete! Gaudete! Christus est natus!

(And yes, (a) It's a bit early, and (b) I can hear Steeleye Span singing it too!)
Happy Christmas to one and all.
There are reasons to rejoice in MLPK too.
The Vicar (me) has benefited enormously from his "emergency" retreat at Sheldon, which produced no miraculous answers, other than the courage, resolve and grace to soldier on. (Which surely is all you need at the end of the day).
The annual open air Carols (today) moved sucessfully to Liberty Square from the Green, and took a new shape, with keyboards and PA, not to mention involvement from the local businesses, co-operation with the Christian Fellowship and 200+ attending.
The annual Christmas Eve Tea Time Worship with a decent (although less than hoped-for attendance) being well-received too.
May the Christ-child, born into the midst of the muck of our world, transform your lives and those you love this Christmas.
